In todays era we've became educated but still we're not the true scholar. In my eyes you're suppose to be well mannered and well behaved to your guardians, friends and loved ones. Being from this generation only, I feel parents and kids are deprived of each others love, care and understanding. There was a time when son had spent 14 years from his life in forest just that so as to keep his father's promise made to his mother, we know him as lord Ram, "Maryada putshottam Ram".
A lot has changed since then, neither father's have remained like Raja Dashrath was, nor son's are like Shri Ram. But does any father or son really do his part right without being really expecting from his father or son to be like Dashrath or Ram. First bring the change in you, others will transform automatically to your desires and expectation. We've reached to moon, americans are growing just because of our Indian brains but we day-by-day have forgotton our roots, our religion, our principles where father's or mother's 'will', desires & dreams was the only thing that has to be abided by the kid, then no matter what.
These days if father wants his son or daughter to wear or learn something which he likes and to his 'will' children didn't like it at all will result into a situation where parent will surely get hurt or children has to bear the embarrasment because both the genres are living and growing in different atmosphere though they live in same climatic conditions but they're not just fitting to each others desires and expectations. But why???Why can't parents act like friends??? Many will say to suprise like my parents do care a lot and really do act like friends to me...but how many of you're really lucky to have such relationship and understanding. Caring has nothing to do with understanding, but at the same moment you can understand or somebody else can make you understand only if you care. We all are good humans its just that situation and circumstances make the evil rise inside us which over shadows the good within us. Atleast once in your lifetime we all experience this, and their may be many lucky bastards like me who had this privilege to enjoy it many times every now and then.
Next time you had a bad time with your dad or mom. Or being parents you had a bad time with your kid, let them know you care for them its just that you wanted it your way and try to find out the best for both of you by discussing and knowing each other views entirely, not by running away from it.
